Siesta Key Beach Access
Depending on the day, the season, and where you are, getting to the beach on Siesta Key can be easy or hard. If you have a car, there are big parking lots at both Siesta Beach and Turtle Beach. But on weekends they can be full by 10:00 in the morning.
There are various shuttles, including the Siesta Key Breeze Trolley, that will drop you off at the beach.
But the best way is to be able to walk to the beach. If you are at White Sands Village or another resort near the public beaches, #1 rated Siesta Beach or Turtle Beach, you can just walk there. If you are staying on the Gulf side of Midnight Pass or Beach Roads you can walk right onto the beach. If you are across the road from the gulf, you can access Siesta Beach via one of the 12 Public Access paths (#2-13) marked with yellow circles on the map below. Much of Crescent beach is restricted to the adjacent resorts. Check your location, it can be a long walk.
